Encourage your MP to attend Parliament debate on ‘5+1’ BNO pathway

On 8 September 2025 at 4:30pm, Members of Parliament will debate e-petition 727356, ‘Keep 5-year ILR terms to Hong Kong British National (Overseas) visas.’

Hong Kong Watch is encouraging Hong Kongers across the country to write to their MPs to invite them to attend the debate and speak in favour of retaining the 5-year indefinite leave to remain (ILR) requirement for BNO visa holders.

If you would like to email your local MP, please follow these steps:

  1. Find your MP’s email address and office address here.

  2. Download our template letter.

  3. Fill in the name of your MP, your postcode, and your name in the blanks highlighted in red. 

  4. Email your MP, or send a physical copy to their office.

鼓勵國會議員參與「5+1」BNO簽證政策辯論

2025年9月8日下午四時半，英國國會議員將就網上請願信727356展開辯論，請願信題為「Keep 5-year ILR terms to Hong Kong British National (Overseas) visas 維持香港英國國民（海外）簽證五年定居途徑」。

香港監察鼓勵英國各地的BNO港人去信所屬選區的國會議員，邀請他們參與辯論，發言支持維持BNO簽證政策的五年定居途徑。

如欲電郵動員你的國會議員，請按照以下步驟：

  1. 在這裏搜尋國會議員的電郵地址和辦事處地址。

  2. 下載這份電郵範本。

  3. 在紅色的空白處填寫國會議員姓名、你的郵政編碼和姓名。

  4. 電郵你的國會議員，或郵寄副本至其辦事處。
