Hong Kong Watch attends Canadian Conservative Party’s Lunar New Year celebration

On Wednesday, Hong Kong Watch was pleased to attend the federal Conservative Party’s ‘Lunar New Year on the Hill’ in Ottawa, to celebrate and welcome the Year of the Horse.

The event brought together the Hong Kong, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean communities in a warm and festive celebration on Parliament Hill, highlighting the diversity and cohesion of Asian communities in Canada.

Hong Kong Watch’s Advocacy and Communications Officer, Landson Chan, joined the event and had the opportunity to meet and exchange views with many Members of Parliament, including Chak Au MP, Laila Goodridge MP, Sandra Cobena MP, Tamara Jansen MP, Greg McLean MP, Vincent Ho MP, and Shuvaloy Majumdar MP, Patron of Hong Kong Watch.

Hong Kong Watch looks forward to also attending the Liberal Party’s Lunar New Year reception, as we continue our engagement with parliamentarians across parties.

香港監察出席加拿大保守黨農曆新年慶祝活動

星期三，香港監察很高興出席加拿大聯邦保守黨在渥太華舉辦的「國會山莊農曆新年慶祝活動」，與各界一同慶祝並迎接馬年。

今次活動匯聚了香港、中國、越南和韓國社群，在國會山莊共慶佳節，突顯出加拿大亞裔社群的多元文化與凝聚力。

香港監察倡議及傳訊主任Landson Chan代表香港監察參加活動，並與多位國會議員見面交流，包括：Chak Au MP、Laila Goodridge MP、Sandra Cobena MP、Tamara Jansen MP、Greg McLean MP、Vincent Ho MP和香港監察贊助人Shuvaloy Majumdar MP。

香港監察亦將出席自由黨的農曆新年慶祝活動，繼續與不同政黨的國會議員溝通交流。
