Brad Redekopp MP becomes Hong Kong Watch Patron in Canada
Hong Kong Watch is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Redekopp MP as our new Patron in Canada.
Brad Redekopp is the Conservative Member of Parliament for Saskatoon West, first elected in 2019. He currently serves as the Associate Shadow Minister for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship and previously held the role of Vice-Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration. In these capacities, he has been a consistent and principled advocate for fair, efficient, and compassionate immigration policies, including raising concerns about the challenges faced by Hong Kongers seeking safety and opportunity in Canada.
Brad Redekopp MP has proven to be a close and trusted ally of the Hong Kong community, particularly in addressing the severe backlog under the Hong Kong Pathway. He has actively assisted in fast-tracking numerous urgent permanent residence applications. We look forward to working closely with him in his new role as our Patron, as we strengthen our shared commitment to defending Hong Kong’s human rights and supporting Hong Kongers in Canada.
Brad brings extensive real-world experience as a Chartered Professional Accountant, business owner, and homebuilder. A strong proponent of fiscal responsibility, individual freedom, and democratic values, he champions practical solutions focused on housing affordability, tax relief, and public safety. He is committed to upholding human rights and the rule of law, and to supporting newcomers who contribute to Canada’s prosperity and freedom.
