Patrick Lam Shiu-tung, former acting chief editor of Stand News, was arrested on 29 December 2021 under the colonial-era Crimes Ordinance for conspiring to publish seditious publications.
Lam was sentenced to 11 months in prison, but was immediately released due to health reasons. He has sought to overturn his sedition conviction. (HKFP, HKFP)
