  • Two men and one woman were apprehended under the National Anthem Law on Thursday night at Hong Kong Stadium, where Iran secured a 4-2 victory against the city’s team in a qualifying match for the international football championship to be held in 2026. (HKFP)

5th June

  • Two men and two women, aged 23 to 69, were arrested on Tuesday, the 35th anniversary of the 1989 Tiananmen crackdown. Among them, an elderly woman was apprehended on suspicion sedition under the city’s new security law. (HKFP)
