Advocated for Wu Chi-wai throughout his deportation case, including a letter from our Patrons to Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood
Led a joint letter from Manchester-based Hong Kong groups to the then-incoming Prime Minister Andy Burnham, calling for support for the Hong Kong community
Coordinated letters from our UK and Canadian Patrons to their respective governments, demanding transparency from INTERPOL ahead of its General Assembly in Hong Kong
Met with Alex Sobel MP to address transnational repression and national security threats
Canada
Led a global joint statement condemning China’s Ethnic Unity and Progress Law
Launched a survey to examine the impact of work permit refusals on Hong Kong Pathway applicants awaiting permanent residence
Engaged with the media on the Ethnic Unity Law, Canada’s Foreign Influence Transparency Registry and the Hong Kong Pathway backlog

Raised concerns over the lapse of the Hong Kong national emergency under Executive Order 13936
Held an online seminar on the three branches of the US government for our Youth Initiative Program

Made a submission to the Committee on the Rights of the Child on protecting children in Hong Kong
