“We welcome the appointment of Ed Miliband as Foreign Secretary and hope that his leadership will bring renewed focus to the serious and growing threat of transnational repression in the UK. We look forward to working constructively with the Foreign Secretary and his Department to ensure that those targeted by transnational repression are heard, supported and protected, and that perpetrators face meaningful consequences.”
