• Charge: Conspiracy to pervert the course of justice

• Incident: Marilyn Tang’s sister, Elizabeth Tang, was arrested under the National Security Law relating to her role as wife to Lee Cheuk-yan, who has been issued multiple charges including inciting others to organise, plan, carry out or participate in the implementation of acts aimed at subverting state power by illegal means from 1 July 2020 to 8 September 2021 in Hong Kong. Marilyn was arrested on 3 March 2023 for removing potential evidence in a national security police investigation related to her sister.

• Sentencing: 6 months’ imprisonment (SCMP)
