Tang Ngok-Kwan is a former standing committee member of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China who was arrested on 8 September 2021 for failing to comply with police information request.

• Charge: Failing to comply with police information request

  Incident: The Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China was accused of failing to furnish national security police with details about the group’s members, financial reports and activities. Simon Leung and Chan To-wai pleaded guilty and were sentenced to three months in prison, while Chow Hang-tung, Tang Ngok-kwan and Tsui Hon-kwong pleaded not guilty. The trio’s convictions were quashed by the Hong Kong Court of Final Appeal on 6 March 2025, after all had previously completed their prison terms.
