United Kingdom
Launched a letter campaign to mobilise parliamentary support for an anti-transnational repression amendment to the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill
Published an explainer on the parliamentary process following a vote on the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill amendment
Worked with our Patron James Naish MP to write to the Minister for Migration and Citizenship on ILR and MPF issues
Met with Bobby Dean MP to discuss transnational repression and community engagement
Canada
Met with senior officials in Global Affairs Canada to discuss Hong Kong Pathway and transnational repression issues
Met with Peter Fragiskatos MP to discuss our Hong Kong Pathway policy proposal
Made a submission to IRCC’s 2026 consultations on immigration levels
Held a training session of our Youth Initiative Program with Jean Yip MP and placed a volunteer with an MP’s office
United States
Held an induction meeting and started arranging a trip to Washington, DC for Youth Initiative Program participants
European Union
Published a briefing on the EU’s exposure to China’s rare earth dominance, met with MEPs’ offices and EEAS, and participated in a roundtable on Chinese digital surveillance
